G Gathering Celebrating Dr. Seuss at Primrose School

Celebrating Dr. Seuss at Primrose School

The children at Primrose School at Cahoon Commons celebrated the NEA's Read Across America Day, a reading motivation and awareness program that takes place annually around the birthday of Dr. Seuss. The various classes had fun decorating the doors of their classrooms and bulletin boards in celebration of the event, and were treated to book readings by local dignitaries, educators, business leaders, and parents from the community. Together, the children collected over 570 books that were donated to CHKD's Reach Out And Read Program and ForKids, a program for children in homeless families.
